Our Festival is entirely in the tradition of Free Open Air Festivals, and this also characterizes how we book our Wurzel musicians. Actually, everything is still just like it used to be: A few friends get together with a stereo and someone plays music. Of course, over the years, we have become more professional in so many ways, but nevertheless certain values have become established with us, which we would like to keep.
We don’t celebrate the cult of general headliners.
– but with us, everyone who has discovered their love for music can play.. That has always been the case with us and, with this philosophy, we have really enjoyed the best experiences imaginable. That’s why we are here. Our events have always been a showcase for “different” sound. Honestly, what could be better than discovering new and talented artists? Artists who also party on the floor after their set, instead of just lying back and heading straight to the airport? With us, there is no VIP area and similar frills. Our floors are small, cozy and familiar, so that each artist also has direct contact with the guests and feels the vibe.
// Given that we are reducing the size of the festival again due to Corona in 2021, there will also be fewer floors at the events. This year, we are planning four events with 4 floors each. The musical focus is on Techno, Goa & Psy, Tech-& Deephouse and Disco. //
Over the years, our music concept has also expanded – we have become more diverse. Meanwhile, we’ve grown to 10 floors, with different genres of electronic music. So, in addition to psytrance, techno, tech house & deep house, we also established our Studio54 floor last year, where you will find disco sound. In 2018, we found the Reggae Floor to be a real hit and so there will be Reggae & Drum’n’Bass again this year. In addition, you will find a band stage, the Ambient / Chillout Floor and the Secret forest Floor on which we find ourselves at the start with Dark Forest. In 2020, we also introduced the Breakfastfloor where you can enjoy your breakfast with downtempo and downbeat sounds, allowing you to start the day well.
